Simple Gifts finally up on mp3.com

After my pre-Christmas false start, I can say that my recording of "Simple Gifts", a beautiful Shaker melody in finally available on mp3.com/PeggyGreen

I tried to adapt Aaron Copland's version that was incorporated into the "Appalachian Spring Suite" to a solo steel guitar, with a little of my own concoctions at the beginning and end.

This recording is from the 'My Voice' album available on CD and cassette from the Forum catalog.
