I believe this guitar should have a sunburst finish similar to it's back. It almost looks like it was exposed to smoke damage. I was thinking of bidding only if it can be cleaned. What are your thoughts? Thanks, Ron

I had one exactly like this, but in better condition. Of course I can't say for certain just by looking at the photos, but it looks to me like the top is just years of dust or possibly paint overspray. No way to know if it would all clean off and have a decent finish underneith. You could try asking the owner if he'd try cleaning off a small area of the dusty part of the top, to find out whether it'll clean off or not. That's all I can think of to tell you. Good luck.

That is the correct finish. It's hard to tell the condition because of the poor quality of the photos and the dust. This the KEH model and is equivalent to the Gibson EH-125.
