Can someone tell me how this works? Sometimes, when I type an e-mail address or web-site url, it'll immediately transform to a blue type-face enabling a reader to simply 'click' on it to reach the site. Other times it won't!!!!
I'm going to try again now...
www.neilinnesandfatso.com
See? It didn't do it!
What am I doing wrong, please?
==============================================
WAIT! It DID do it, but not until after I sent the post.
BUT - I tried the same thing on another Forum and it didn't work. Can anyone explain?
Thanks. _________________ Roger Rettig: Emmons D10, B-bender Teles and Martins - and, at last, a Gibson Super 400!

Roger, what you are referring to is "hyper links". Whether it works or doesn't work in a particular forum depends on how that forum handles it, and for what Browser it is set up to accomodate.
Here on the SG Forum it will hyperlink by just entering for example www.floridasteelguitarclub.com
On other forums you may have to do something different or it will only work with, for example Internet Explorer.
On the Dell users forum if you are using Internet Explorer you can enter hyper links just like we do on this forum, however if the Firefox browser is being used (in it's native form) you can't directly enter hyperlinks. |

Thanks, Jack (nice to hear from you!)
I am using Firefox because I found some months ago that my previous browser didn't allow me to play YouTube clips!!! I couldn't have that, so I went to Firefox.
I'll try going to IE and see what happens then.
Thanks for your help; I hope all is well with you. _________________ Roger Rettig: Emmons D10, B-bender Teles and Martins - and, at last, a Gibson Super 400!
