I just got a DVD burner, and I have several 8mm video tapes that I would like to put on DVD. So, here is the question; what do I need to get-r done? Some conversion box? Software? Both? And maybe I could put a video on the forum????? Then again..... |

You will need an interface, and what type depends on the PC you have. If you have USB 2.0 then a relatively inexpensive interface is the DVD Xpress USB connected unit. It comes with "recording" software so you can record the videos to the hard drive. You can then burn the DVD's from the file(s) on the hard drive.
In order to put a video on the forum, you would have to host that on a server somewhere that can be referenced by the forum. No different than posting pictures on the forum. |
