I'm trying to render a BIAB file to Midi tracks but when I play back the midi file, the instruments are no longer in synch with one another, and instead of a regular rhythm, it has picked up this loping swing thing. Is this a latency problem somewhere? I'm using a DXi synth so I don't think the latency is supposed to be manually adjusted. Or is it some other problem? Will appreciate any help sorting this out!
Thanks,
Jim |

Jim, I just tried the BIAB to MIDI using one of their demo songs (Lady in Green). It created the MIDI file and it played back OK using the Windows Media Player (11) using the MIDI synth in my SoundBlaster Card.
It also played OK in Cubase LE (again with my Soundblaster MIDI Synth). |

On the few occasions I have exported from BIAB to midi, it worked fine (Soundblaster card).
I would suggest reverting to using the sound card as the midi out device to isolate the problem. |

Did I hear someone ask, 'Jim, did you try rebooting your computer?'? Well, um... yes, I did and now everything works, um..., just fine. So... in the immortal words of Emily Littella...
Never mind.

Jim, good job on your PC "troubleshooting"
However, if it happens again more than a "reboot" is going to be needed. |
