i'm moving to the raleigh/durham area in october, and i'm looking for a band, or people to start one with. i play lap steel, dobro, guitar, and mandolin. i like to play 40's-60's style country, western swing, bluegrass, swing to bop jazz, etc. i've been playing semi-professionally for over 25 years, and i have a professional but fun-loving attitude. i'd like to play with people writing original material, and play some of the stuff i'm writing.
thanks, john

Hey John,
When you get to the area why don't you join the Mid Atlantic Steel Guitar Assn. as there'd probably be some folks who might know where you could get some gigs. Try this site: www.masga.org Have a good 'un, JH in Va.
