Rand, I have 10 Kluson small button tuners that were original tuners on the early Emmons push pulls. Not the larger "tulip" or "butterfly" button that was available on later models.

Spend 90 bucks and get two sets of either new Klusons or Allparts. Then you'll have new, better machines and two spares.

Well i cant quite figure out the right size so it fits the width of the keyhead. plus the alignment of the hole to lock it in place isnt the way new tuners are set. i actually bought 2 sets of locking sperzels for guitar. i bought some washers from home depot and the fit almost right. but it keeps breaking #3 string. i dont know if the angle to the roller for the string is right. someone had put modified grovers on it before it got to me. they whole mechanism just kept spinning in circles.
this is now. http://www.dreadneck.net/emmons/keyhead.jpg
