For the finest in pedal steel guitar instruction courses, check with HWP first. We have been doing courses since 1969. We also have a good selection of CD listening albums and rhythm tracks.

Are "Rhythm Tracks" the same as what we call over here in the UK --- "Backing Tracks" ? i.e FULL and Complete backings,
or as you call them rhythm tracks, are they just the rhythm SECTION with NO other lead instruments ?
The difference in terminology confuses me somewhat..I understand a "Rhythm Section" to be Piano or similar, Bass, Drums, and Rhythm guitar(s)etc playing ACCOMPANIMENT.. when you add lead instruments to that then you have a "Backing group"
Basil
BTW have you the "Herby Wallace Collection CD HWP-9001" available as "Rhythm Tracks"?

Concerning my rhythm tracks, there are different ones with different courses. For example, on courses that are from a listening album, the track does have the other lead instruments on there just like the recording. On some of the instruction courses, the tracks are only bass, drums and rhythm guitar. I have so many different courses, so you would need to specify which ones you were interested in. Also, concerning my CD, HWP-9001, this one contains recordings from several of my earlier albums recorded between 1980 and 1995, but there is not a rhythm track version of this particular album.
Thanks,
Herby Wallace

Herb, I have your E9th Emmons course with "Born To Lose" on it. Man, that tune stands on its own!!! What a nice piece of music and a great arrangement. |

Thanks Ray for the nice comments. That course I did for the Emmons Co. in 1969 and was my first course as well as their first course. I was only 22 at the time.
Thanks,

Herb, I ordered your "Mr. Wallace & Company" from Del Mullens site. One word "fantastic", Guys, if your thinking of adding another CD to your collection, "Mr. Wallace &
Company" is the one. |
