I have had very little success trading stuff on this forum, don't know why really, everyone wants to buy rather than trade gear it seems.. but I'm willing to keep trying ..I'll make that big deal yet!!! I'm pretty tenacious...

anyway, I am finding I am just not a Peavey guy... I have sold off all my Peavey Classic amps except this VERY nice and pretty rare Classic 100 head...This has 8 EL 84 power tubes.. all tube pre amp, reverb, channel switching, effects loop, 4,8,16 ohm speaker switch.. LOTS of great stuff.. Tweed/chrome.
.
It is in beautiful cond.. It is a sweet, warm, all tube amp with just gobs of power and it has become my main gigging amp for guitar and steel the last 8 months or so..

Just time for a change I think.. I am going back to one of my Fender heads, as THAT is the sound I prefer... I have owned much of what Peavey makes, and like them very well, but really do prefer Fender amps in the long term...

In any case, I wonder if anyone would like to swap me an amp of similar value[$450 or so]... will consider any and all brands, head or combo, big or small, as long as it has TUBES... [no Peaveys please] bob
