I've replaced the p/u on a CS I just got in with a 10-1 George L humbucker. P/U off of Carter Starter is 30.00 if anybody wants it. S + H included in the price. Thanks. PayPal, money orders & cashiers checks ok. |

Definitely. Not even a comparison here with the p/u's. Turns a little guitar into a big guitar, quick! Thanks. |

I replaced the Carter Starter pickup with a 10-1 and it's tempting me now to keep the starter when i upgrade to a new Carter D-10 soon. The sound is great, stays right in tune, and weighs a lot less than most. In the back of mind I'm thinking rehearsal guitar. |

If I still have my CS come 12-2, I'm planning on playing it at the steel show in Gulfport, MS. Surprise, surprise! I don't figure it'll last that long though before somebody buys it. It's really a shock to have that kind of tone coming from a starter guitar. This even makes it a sweeter deal at the 550.00 price. |
