Does this belong in "Pedal Steel" ?
or maybe in Grims' Fairy Tales

Notice the nearest neck is minus two machine heads ?

Must have some fancy wiring to acheive the stated claim

Separate volume control for each string

Obviously as rare as "Rocking Horse Manure" but what you have to ask yourself is "who want s***t anyway"

Maybe that's what a "slide guitar" looks like, as opposed to a "steel guitar".

Oh Yeah. One of those combination pedal/slide steel guitars with invisible pedals and a combination six-string and eight-string neck configuration with individual volume controls. But seriously, it's a rare instrument for a serious player. Or maybe it's a serious instrument for a rare player...you know, the kind with no brain.

ROFLMAO -

Don

PS - I dare you to email the guy and ask for the serial number.....

Oh no,....he said the "S" word....that's discrimination. Just because I'm depriving a village of their idiot, that's no excuse to deny a person of my standing this rare treasure!

"The seller ended this listing early because of an error in the listing". I'll say! How about that claim of a seperate volume control for EACH STRING!

Yup, volume control for each string sort of caught my attention rather quickly as well. Is that claim a play on words or was that guitar's volume control system built for an octopus?

I just enlarged the picture on Photoshop and it appears that that steel needs considerable refurbishing work. The wood work looks fairly clean but two tuners are missing on the lower neck and it looks as though the lower P/U is sitting a little off sque.

That volume control that is sitting beneath the steel looks very much like my rhythm master, foot console. My foot console has six floor pedals that allows me eight different chords and can be tuned to 12 if I was stupid enough to try and get my feet moving that fast. I don’t think they even make rhythm floor consoles like that anymore: I will stand to be corrected on this. Everything has gone electronic.

What seems to be pedals and a volume controller underneath the guitar is actually a Boss GT-6 Guitar effects processor that have a special "De-Fretter" effect to further enhance that slide sound probably.

Does it have volume control?
