A friend of mine has a Gibson Falcon amp in working condition. It needs an on/off switch, one pot and one knob and the foot switch needs cleaning. He wants $200 and he will pay the shipping to the lower 48 and a donation to Bob. Billy

That is a great amp for lap steel. The pots and switch are an easy repair, if they are just scratchy. Cool find.

The Falcon is a great amp. I had one for a couple of years, and everything sounded great with it. It breaks-up pretty good, but it's just bearly loud enough for a not-too-loud drummer, and that would be with a screaming overdrive. An ideal studio amp. Two 6v6 tubes. I bought it for $100 and regretfully sold it for $300, so I guess its value is somewhere in that range.
Please let me know if it's up for sale

Do you know what year it is (Falcon I, II, III)? Are the controls on the top, or on the front? Tube or solid state?

The controls are on top, and it is a tube type. Billy
