| A friend of mine has a Gibson Falcon amp in working condition. It needs an on/off switch, one pot and one knob and the foot switch needs cleaning. | That is a great amp for lap steel. The pots and switch are an easy repair, if they are just scratchy. Cool find. |

The Falcon is a great amp. I had one for a couple of years, and everything sounded great with it. It breaks-up pretty good, but it's just bearly loud enough for a not-too-loud drummer, and that would be with a screaming overdrive. An ideal studio amp. Two 6v6 tubes. I bought it for $100 and regretfully sold it for $300, so I guess its value is somewhere in that range.
Please let me know if it's up for sale
