I had one very similar, but with chrome plates and in better condition, that I had a hard time getting $1200 for. Someone's happy with it somewhere, I hope. It was just hung on a music store wall inoperable when I bought it and got Rick Aiello and Lollar on the case.

there's a French Steeler that just got a Gibson EH150 from this guy 950 $ + shipping
the PU was screwed all the way up against the strings and was very very hard to lower
there was a significant gap between the binding & table top at the rear of the axe from too much tension on the bridge
