Truthfully, the sound clip on their site doesn't sound at all like a tricone instrument to me. And the color...I guess I'm more of a traditionalist.

You're right, Mike. If I had heard the sound clip without knowing what it was, I would have guessed it's a steel bodied single cone.

I own a Beltona reso ukulele. It's the best reso uke of the four i've owned. In fact, i sold the others after getting this. They are a small company in New Zealand and really give great service. There was a buzz whenever i played a Eb note. They sent me a brand new cone for free, (and i'm the second owner!) It turned to be something loose inside, not the cone. A little glue and everything was fine.
