It's a late model probably around 95 or 96 I'd guess. I read the last year was 96. It looks like a new amp with only a very small spot on the tolex at the bottom. It has the Groove tubes, 15 Emminence/Fender speaker and is 100 watts of clean tube power. This amp doesn't have the bright switches. It has a Fat switch for the right channel (guitar) and a Sweet switch for the left (Steel) channel. The only thing the switches do is change the bias of the tubes. The guitar channel will rock with the best of them and the steel channel is clean as it gets. Both sides have reverb and tremelo and it has casters and a new Fender cover. I had the pre-amp tubes replaced and it's been gone through by a guy that works on Fender amps of all kinds and knows his stuff. He tells me this is a custom shop amp. I couldn't figure out the deal on the switches and the different channel thing. If you want to play steel and be clean it's the left channel and for guitar it's the right channel. It makes it pretty cool for those that play a lap steel along with the PSG. It's as good as it gets for steel guitar through a tube amp and sounds great for recording. I've got five amps over and it's either move some stuff out or get a bigger house.
