Like new Electro Harmonix Black Finger compressor. Uses 2 12ax7 tubes. In like new condition. Retail for $298 - Musician's Friend price $189. Sell for $145 including shipping to lower 48 only.

hi,
i was looking at these, can you give me some impressions from a user standpoint? as compared to a boss c-3 or keeley. just something to go on, i need a good compressor.
Is this noisy due to the tubes? thanks, mike

| The Black Finger is more transparent than my Ross clone and is alot more versatile. The Ross colors the sound more than the EH, but sometimes that's good to run in front of another pedal or combination. The Black Finger has more control, and by switching tubes, of course, you'll get different tone characteristics. You can get a real squashed sound from this, but you can also get more natural sounding compression at lower ratios. |
