Surgery Update on Jerry and thanks

Talked to Jerry yesterday. He has developed an infection that has to be cleared up before surgery can be done. This will take about two weeks or so and that puts the surgery into early September it looks like now.

I sent Jerry the couple of threads that had all of the well wishes the many of you sent to him. He said the comments sure can humble a person and I am very, very humbled and he wanted me to thank all of you again for the very kind comments. He again said he sure wished he could reply to each and every one of them but is unable to keep up with all the best wishes he is receiving. I guess he has received well over 50 cards also.

He has gained back 8 pounds and is still eating everything in sight I guess. His weight fell down to 126 pounds but it looks like he will be getting back up to normal before long.

I will continue posting periodic updates for all forumites as I get new information or any changes occur.

We cannot picture Jerry at 126 lbs ! He always looked so great whenever we saw him. Mary and I hope he regains his weight and moreso his health. Please let us know how the surgery goes in September. We'll be thinking about him and praying all will be fine. Mahalo Jack.
