This is the later incarnation of the Sho-Bud single channel. It's in very good to excellent condition. The speaker is the older alnico Altec. It's been serviced and old electrolytic caps have been updated. Great amp. I hate to part with this one, but I've got too many amps around. I believe there were only a very small number of these made. 60 very loud watts.

I will not ship this amp, but it's here in St. Louis for pickup or I can also bring it to the Benton, IL steel show next weekend.

email for more details.

$350 (that's pretty cheap so no haggling)

This is one of the best sounding amps out there. It has a great reverb also. I have one that I would not part with. Some of you need to jump on this one. You don't find these on the market very often. Brad has a very reasonable price on it for the amp these babies are.

Brad, I have one of these, and, while I'll take your word for it, I cannot believe they are only 60 watts. Mine seems much louder and cleaner.
These amps are comfortable to carry.

Yea, John Fabian had once told me about these and just a few months later I found one at Scotty's. They are a cool design. They use a couple of FET's in the preamp like Webb and Evans to get a sweet, kind of tubey sound. The circuit is much like a Fender tone circuit. The Altec is very efficient so I think that's part of the loudness factor. It really does get loud. It's essentially a somewhat more modern release of the Sho-Bud single channel amp.
