In the last few days I've added links to a builder from Finland and a couple of luthiers from Australia to my web site. It's a world wide phenomenon!

It's good to know the 'disease' is spreading,- there's even a guy in my small town here in Norway, Audun Hofseth, who has built a couple of Weissenborns, squareneck dobros and electric lap steels. They've turned out real nice.

And here's a guy in New Zealand, Burgin Guitars.
His travel Weissenborns and dobros are especially nice, but his regular models looks nice also. Heard of him before?

Brad - There is a young builder on his way up that Steinar and I know, he should be added to your site. He is a great guy and is making a name for himself with great guitars at very resonable prices. He's doing a baritone Weiss for me now. His name is Rance White of Lazy River Guitars, here's his site...drop him a line.

Yes, definitely add Lazy River Guitars to your list,- I have one of his Weissenborns and it's a great instrument!
(I didn't mention him here since I was thinking of builders outside of the US...).

Indian lap slide phemon Debashish Bhattacharya is offering some instruments on his web page: http://www.debashishbhattacharya.com/
I don't know who is making them, but I suspect it's from an Indian instrument manufacturer.

While we're on the topic of steel guitar builders, I've posted an updated list of pedal and non-pedal electric steels. Additions and corrections welcome!
