| I don`t know if this is the right place to post this, but here goes..i wanted to share something that happened to me when i tried to purchase some video/instruction merchandise from "Learn to play.com".I ordered two videos and put on my VISA. I was told that they would be here in 7-10 days. after 2 weeks, i got worried that they got lost so i emailed " learn To Play.com". with no responce, i tried to ph. them. with no answer, in two days i emailed them again and got a little more stern. the next day i got an email stateing the order must of got lost and they`d resend it right away. in 7 days i received(1) video which was`nt even anything i ordered. i emailed them back AGAIN, with no responce. upon examineing the pkg., i seen that it was sent from "Mel Bay Pub." it had a ph. # on there so i called them. I talked to a "Sara" which was very nice and told me that "learn To Play" orders their stuff from them wholesale . she said she`d try to contact them for me. she said that the original 2 videos i ordered were out of publication and can`t be purchased.Learn To Play finally got back with me and wanted me return the video that i got (but did`nt order) they said for my trouble,they would give me a different video worth up to $40.00.free. So i sent them the video back($5.00 postage) I finally got my VISA to get back the money for the videos, but have`nt heard a thing on the free one. I emailed them the last and final time about this and they said they`d send out a check for the $5.00 that day. guess what? beware when you buy over the net. i feel fortunate i only lost $5.00 in this messy ordeal...jim heady |
