For 400.00 you should hang on to that one. Those amps sound great and record great too. Just my opinion....

Charlie, that Vegas400 is a great amp, and whoever gets it will do well. I use the Vegas 400,..using two cords, both channels, left out of toys for fats & lows, the right channel for highs and mids, mix with volume controls....it being a twin-channel amp. It's about 20 years old, but they haven't made one like it since,..I wish they(PEAVEY) would..I'd have another. Thanks for letting me horn in. Best of luck on your sale,..it's a dandy! It seems that a lot of the guys that have sold their Vegas 400's have regretted letting them go. Here's my 2 cents worth: I've had one since '86 & it's been thru the mill... still going & sounding great.
I now use it along with a Nashville to run stereo. I have been using the 2nd channel of the Vegas for my regular guitar settings. It saves a lot of time when I switch back & forth. I am now also using a guitar synthesizer into that 2nd channel & it sounds absolutely great. Both amps are on wheels. I use a peavey amp stand (extended all the way) and make a "stack" when the stage is real tight---Vegas on the floor and the Nashville on the stand right behind the Vegas. Really good separation with one shooting strait out & the other shooting at an angle. If you do sell it, the buyer will be getting the best part of the deal. What ever you decide, "Stick with Peavey!" & best of luck.
