The trademark sound of Johnny Sibert is a triple neck Fender Stringmaster with the 26" scale through a Fender 4x10 Bassman Amp. He didn't use a volume pedal. His main tuning was A6, but he also used Billy Robinson's C6 and Leon McAuliffes E13.

Inside neck, A6:

From 1952 to 1954 he used a D-8 non pedal Bigsby(which he later sold to Webb Pierce for Sonny Burnette to play, with two pedals added).

He then played a Fender Dual Professional for a very brief time, before getting his Fender Stringmaster in 1954. His double neck tunings were A6 and C6.

Billy Robinson and Bob Foster played steel on the earliest records. Johnny's first session with Carl was "Are You Teasing Me?" in February 1952.

I believe, Hey Joe, Satisfaction Guaranteed, and Doggone It, Baby I'm In Love were recorded with the Fender Dual Pro.
