I had the opportunity to try a red rajah and couldn't believe how smoothly it glides along the strings. I don't know who sells new ones, but a used one would be fine for me.

Hi Rick- In the picture you posted ,is the black bar on the right tapered?......
Oops, never mind, I see on Chuck's web site that he does have the tapered bars. I've got one of the old ones that I really like but it's begining to show it's age and I've been looking for a new one. looks like I found it.

Yes it is. It's not exactly black, it's a very very dark brown . . |

Steve,
Perhaps the white bars you have seen are the Zerconia bars. Doug Jernigan uses one at times and Scotty. Talking with Scotty a couple years ago, se said they were only made for a very short time and were very pricey. He also didn't think they were even available any more. You might contact him at Scotty't music. He would know for sure. |
