I have '69 SFTR for sale. I am original owner. Amp has new filter caps, new cathode by-pass caps, signal caps and reverb tank . All tubes replaced within the past year, 6L6's are NOS american. I replaced the 2 JBL's with one 15" JBL M31-4, which has original cone and in excellent condition. Grill cloth is black with black binding. I refer to it as "Stealth" . Looks good! The amp sounds like my old '62 Vibrosonic sounded, sweet and wonderful. The amp is set up to AB763 schematic specs and now has true bias adjustment. All transformers are original equipment. I did all the work on this amp (I'm retired electronic tech). Complete with footswitch, cover and wheels on cabinet. I don't play much any more and have decided to sell. Asking $850 + shipping. I'll deliver in Atlanta area. Email for photo's.
Regards,

Is this amp 100 watts or 135? Either way this is a dream amp for pedal steel. Too bad I'm overloaded on amps right now. The JBL M31 is a JBL remake of the D130F. It sounds fantastic for steel in a Fender - the classic sound of the '60s and early '70s. This one matches the Twin at 4 ohms to get the full volume of the Twin, whereas, JBL 130s were mostly (all?) 8 ohm, which gives a noticable volume cut in a Twin. Somebody is going to be mighty happy with this amp. |

The amp is 100W. It does NOT have a master volume control. Original foot switch is included. I'm in process of taking digital photo's and will post ASAP.
