Can you post a picture of the guitar or give any other info? Is it an acoustic or lap steel?

There is a Bronson lap guitar on Ebay now, do a search there. Does it look like that one?

Jack,

Bronson was a Brand of jobber-made Steels. I have seen Bronson branded Steels made by Rickenbacher, Nat'l Valco and Magnatone.

Borrowing from information provided by John Tipka on another website:

Quote:
Bronson was a Brand name of jobber Steels of the Bronson Publishing Co in Detroit Mich. George Bronson provided steel guitar instruction in the Detroit area in the 1930's, '40s, and very early '50s. He was a half-brother of Harry Stanley, who owned the large O'ahu Publishing Company in Cleveland OH and, who was responsible for most of the mass steel guitar instruction from the 1930's through the 1960's in the United States, Canada, and the rest of the World.

Posting a picture here will go a long way in telling you what you have. If you can't do that then folks here can give you a more exact I.D. if you will provide it's serial number and describe it's pickup, body shape, material it's made from, where the knobs are located, the paint scheme, any binding, fret markers description and number of strings.

Aloha,
Denny T~
