Yikes! Any guesses about how much one of these would sell for if it was in better condition?

I believe there was one on ebay a short while back. It appeared to be in near mint condition and fetched 4 grand.

Yikes is right! This one had enough extra holes in it to be a colander ! I won the '35 E-150 that Howard is probably referring to that was (is) in mint condition for $3500. Big bucks I know but well worth it as several dealers are asking $5-6K for primo examples. Only 98 were made per Gruhn and they were Gibson's first electric instrument marketed so historically quite important. Nice player too! Seems like a minty Rick fry pan will set you back as much if not more these days.......
