Just got an email from Wayne Tanner (Mr Jerry Byrd clone). He said he wants to know what happened to Ray. He can't get an email to him.

And come to think about it, I don't recall seeing a post by Ray recently. Does anyone know?

Ray?

Dear friend are you listening?

It seems a while back I saw him post an apology for a virus? or something he spread inadvertently. I think he was embarassed by whatever it may have been? Or am I wrong about that? I was wrong once, or was it twice? OK, maybe it was 4 times?? or more, I'm not sure anymore? I must be getting senile! Goodnight Jerry! I mean, Buddy!

Hey fellows............it's NICE to be missed

Our little three day "move" turned into a four week ordeal........and I just returned the rental trailer on Monday. They felt so sorry for this old man that they gave me a senior citizen discount along with a monthly rental discount, etc., etc.
I've been waiting all week for my computer guru to contact me and am still waiting. I had to build a new room in the new location to house all my guitars, records, tapes, computers, stereo, speakers, amps, etc. Then had to have the cable guy come hook us up, etc.
I hope to have it all up and running by this weekend. I'm glad some of you are enjoying our efforts.
THanks for your concern.

Hey Ray, if you paid your rent, you wouldn't have to move, especially at midnight!!!!

It's great to have you (and your website) back, Ray. I bet you're glad to have your move mostly done. (Now there's an understatement!)

My music room is done and the paint is dry.

I'm thinking of putting up some flat wood paneling with the horizontal grooves so I can hang my several Ricks....like they do in the swank music stores around the country.

Anybody done this too? I just don't want any hangers to pull thro' the sheet rock so felt these EXPENSIVE panels might do the trick as they seem to hold 6-12 on one line in some of the stores I've visited.

Hang 'em High

String swings ...

$10 a piece ... get the wood ones. A guy on ebay sells 'em for $8.75 (do a search)

Well Rick, my friend, you seem to have out done us again! Great pix! You certainly are an inspiration and what a collection. I tho't you said you moved back into civilization and no more log cabin stuff?
I could've been wrong, I guess.

Yep, we moved off the mountain, into the valley ... but my "much better" half had to build a log home.

Worse yet, the logs from this area weren't big enough and she had 9" rounds trucked in from your neck of the woods ...

What I have to put up with for a couple steel guitar purchases every once in awhile

Got more Rickys since that photo ... gotta get a better camera and update that "family portrait".
