Bobbe, I just wanted to thank you for the great deal you gave me on my latest purchase.
Over the years I have purchased lots of stuff from Steel Guitar Nashville, and have always been treated fair and honest.
Bobbe, you are the greatest.

I'll second that.

There's nobody on the planet like Bobbe. I'm very proud to consider him a friend...and I'm undeserving of it. He's just a peach!

Bobbe's a helluva guy! I stopped by his store on my way back from St. Louis to say hi and bought a couple of things. He did however try to "hustle" my wife and actually gave her a CD. The dog hasn't given me anything, except maybe the best price on the planet on the two Nashville 112's I've bought from him. I wish they had a store like his here in my area. The Guitar Center here has loud rock music blowing out of the speakers all day long so even though I love rock I can't stay in there too long. Bobbe's very helpful to his customers in finding what they want and doesn't try to high pressure them or steer them to something they dont' want or need. Just watch your wives though! My wife Kay though he was cute! Can you imagine that? I just couldn't see it myself.....JH in Va.

There you guys go, giving him the big head again. Hell he can't get inside the airplane now, what's up tomorrow?

Kiddin' I guess. No more jokes brother. Your Daddy'd be pretty proud of you, and you know that's saying a great big mouthful.

I have to get in on this one!!!I agree with all of you.
Bobbe Seymour is my neighbor, friend, hero, and always ready to help if I should need something...I go by to visit on a regular basis many times just for the fellowship, and I see Bobbe,Dan and all his staff doing a wonderful job of helping other steelers and potential steelers with all their needs, including free advice and suggestions.
He carries a various lines of steels and his shop is a full service shop.
One winter long ago I was having a hard time
making it on just eleven dollar Opry spots so Bobbe would sub jobs to me (and others)when he could have easily worked the jobs himself.Bobbe has been and remains a friend to the steel guitar and its players...
Thanks Bobbe.

I have to agree here. Bobbe has bailed me out on a few occasions very promptly and reasonably.

This past year has been one of the worst on record for my state of mind... No sob stories, it's just been a challenge. Gotta tell you, visitin' Bobbe's store, sittin' on the spectator's side of a D-10 while Lynn Owsley spent an hour and a half showing me Jimmy Day moves...
Life just doesn't get any better.
Thanks to both of you!...I'm saved....

PS: I repeatedly had to pick my lower jaw off the floor after repeatedly saying "Holy $#&%".

Gotta join with Lynn on this one. Bobbe's been good to me for 35+ years, and still is when I get to town.

I have been buying guitars, amps, strings, and you name it, from Bobbe over the years and have always felt like he gave me a good deal. I called him about a week ago about buying two, Nashville 112 Amps. We agreed on the price over the phone and this was around 4 PM EST. I didn't expect to get the 112's for a couple of days but, the next day around 12:30 PM EST way less than 24 hours after I talked to Bobbe, the FEDEX Truck was backing in my driveway with my two Nashville 112's.
I hadn't much more than hung up the phone it seemed, and here they are......IS THAT SERVICE OR WHAT? There's Peavey Dealers here close by but they won't give me the deal that Bobbe does.
Give Bobbe a call after you check prices with everyone else.....you'll be glad you did.

He's right - Bobbe's da man. What I like about him the most is that he unfailingly tells me the thing I need to know, not necessarily the thing I expected or wanted to hear. Expect some fruitful cognitive dissonance.

That is pretty rare in this day and age of glad-handing marketeering.

I can't tell you great guys how much this means to me, but this is also the way I feel about all of you also.
Remember, this is a two way street, you folks make it very easy to treat you good because you have all treated me even better. You are all very special to me, this is what makes life in the "world of steel guitar" so wonderful.

Your friend,
Bobbe Seymour
