It was Russ and he was playing his brand new sunburst Show Pro. It looked and sounded great!

Jeff Surratt told me that Russ had gotten his new ShowPro guitar and was really digging it...I sure love mine!

Steve--Pete Wasner told me that Paul was on some of the sessions he played on--said Buddy was in the week before--didn't mention John, but who knows... |

It's good to hear that Buddy is playing on this album....It is a 4CD set. Vince used the whole hour on the Opry to debut it. There are four different venues (Country, Bluegrass, Rock and Roll, and Jazz)A total of 43 songs. I imagine he used a lot of different steel players and fit them to the type of music they do best. Care to guess where Emmons would be used??? |

Well looks like Vince corraled the creme de la creme for this effort. Knowing John is on the CD just polishes it off. |
