I have to spend the night in Des Moines and would live to hear some great country music, of course with a steel.

I will be staying near the airport since I am flying out Sunday.

Thanks

You're dealing with people from Cornfield County. Al's probably still trying to turn on his computer.
Another one is, DeVere Adamson. I'll try to find his email and get back to you.

Thanks to all that sent me emails regarding live country music in Des Moines.

I found that there was none to be found. Went to bed early and got some rest.

"Depressing" is the word. Twenty years ago we could easily stay busy every friday and saturday. And play during the week if you prefered. Today, it's not uncommon to play in two or three bands to stay busy 3 or 4 nights per month. Overall, the pay hasn't progressed in the past 30yrs. Pretty slim around cornfield county.
