John, I ordered one of your new 15/16ths bars from Bill Stroud. Just wanted to thank you and Bill for designing and making the perfect bar. It's perfect for me and is a great product IMO.

Thanks Jim Bob for using the BJS Bars, I really appreciate the feed back on these bars.
John had a good idea, and I played mine at church tonight for the first time and the sound and tone was just what I wanted it to be.
You guys got your bars before I got one, now if that don't just beat all.
Again glad you liked your new bar.
Thanks,
Bill

Bill.....things are a little tight financially on this end.....but as soon as they loosen up, I'm gonna have me one of those new 15/16ths (10 string) bar with birthstone (April) in it.........I've got one of your heavier bars, and really would like to compare the two of them. There's no finer bar around than the BJS.....HAL

Bill,
Your magic shines through once again. I’ve been using your bars now for 25 + years and I have to say this is the best yet! Great size with the 15/16” and the weight is right there. Of course I still practice with your 1” bar at home, but I’ll use the new one at the Opry. Thanks Bill, and the rest of ya’ll should purchase one of these new bars ……you won’t regret it. I can only second all of the remarks. I have a standard BJS bar which I thought was fantastic, but my JH Lite arrived yesterday and it is just fantastic. I play a twelve string and this bar is just what I needed. Now I have two of the best bars in the world.

I have to ask guys, forgive my ignorance, does the bar really make that much difference?

I have been using an MSA bar with a plasic in-lay for grip for several years and I like it. Would you all suggest that this bar would produce a better sound?

I have the standard 15/16", which I started using four years ago. I have to say that the extra weight was part of the improvement for me.

I actually have two - one in each steel-seat - and I'm set for life!

Ken, it does make a difference. I went through several bars before I found the 15/16 bar that BJS puts out. It may turn out that you like yours better, but I think it's worth trying. I do love mine!

Hi Russ,
I beleive that you got your first bar or bars back in 1976 or so, that's over 25 years ago and you've still got them.
Now don't let the new bar wear you out..
Thanks Russ for using the BJS Bar, for you guys that don't know Russ, he's a Great Picker, I've known this guy for years met him up in Chicago area. Butch Butler introduce him to me, that was the days when Bill Kerr was selling the Beck Steels, and the the BMI. Goes back a few years Russ.
Keep in touch.
Bill
