I'll be on lead guitar with Ed & Bobby Beard & the Virginia Rounders at the Peach Festival in Knotts Island, NC at noon. Ed's a former NFL Player/Coach with the SF 49'ers who has a country band in this area. Later that night I'll be on Pedal Steel with the Evans Brothers Band at Tinky's in Sligo, NC. The Evans boys like to do a bunch of Skynyrd and southern rock so it won't be too dull.....JH in Va.

I'll be at Pappy and Harriets in Pioneertown, California, Saturday night with the Slidewinders. The club almost burnt down a few weeks ago as part of the massive Sawtooth fire that consumed 96 square miles.

I'll be at the Texas Opry in Magnolia, as I have been for some time now. No smoke, no spitting, no profanity, just good down home country music! If you're in the area stop in and say hello. Russ

The Poodle Dog Lounge with Glen and Son. There is smoke, spitting, profanity and beer. The bad news is you have to bring your own whiskey. But the music will be pure country as well.
