The Lee Boys were in Kingsport tonight and this is the first time I've gotten to hear them. If you like "SacredSteel" you'll love these guys. Roosevelt the "Doctor" Collier played some mighty fine steel. He played a S10 Carter E7 tuning. If you get a chance to hear them, do it.

I'll have to back Tony up on this one. Sacred steel isn't the reason I took up steel guitar, but Roosevelt was one of the reasons. He would talk shop with me before I even had equipment to boast about. He is a super nice guy, great picker, and great entertainer. Maybe we can get him to pull out his Sho-Bud and put the Carter in the closet .
