Just wondered who picks with Singletary and if he is the same one who did (or does) the session work.

I dont know the answer to your question, but that was very nice work by the steel player on Singletary's cover of "I Never Go Around Mirrors"

Mike Johnson did the studio work on Daryls "Why I sing this way CD" however Mike is still doing Studio work and plays around the Nashville area. A super picker as the CD shows.

Yeah, that's what I was wondering ... who did the I Never Go Around Mirrors and the The Note. That was some really nice stuff and the tone was awesome! Anyone know who does his road gigs?

The best song I think Daryle ever sung was "Kay".Must be because my wife's name is Karen and I always call here "Kay".Besides I love the lyrics and the steel on this one.

Just a fantastic CD. Some of the classics with today's recording technology, great steel by Mr. Johnson, and Rhonda Vincent's back-up and lead vocals are second to none.

I agree guys! The CD with The Note and I Never go Around Mirrors is some of the best classic material with new high tech sound I have heard - of course it's hard to beat Vince Gill's '90s stuff with Hughey - thank God for Hughey land!
