Caught the J. R. Show last night at Eddie's Ballroom in Manvel, Tx. . Robin Mims on steel guitar. Robin is one incredible player. He also worked with the opening act, Pat Murphy. Good show, Robin. Jody. |

I hope he did "Riding My Thumb To Mexico". One of my JR favorites. Me and my present band do this one, and it moves right along. |

JR was looking good and singing right on key and put on a great show. I think he did every song he ever recorded. The band was great. Was nice to see two of my old bandmates with JR. Bruce Carter on drums and Rocky Phillips on guitar. Ofcourse my friend Robin on steel was icing on the cake. Jody. |

JR was always one of my favorites and always featured the steel. I hope he has gotten his act together again. |
