Hey Wade, do you think it would help if I put the "Y" back on the end of my name?

Rodney,I get all my stuff from AJ down at Ernest Tubb's record shop in the stockyards.

Dick I would try putting the "Y" on the end of your name,I mean I dont know if it would improve your steel playing but it would be fun for the rest of us....haha

Thomas.....no problem, I think that I am really a Texan at heart. They are certainly turning out the best REAL country music today. Another CD you would probably like is Johnny and Joan Cox's "Life after Nashville". I have it and it is wonderful.

Best regards,

Ben

After listening to the clip Cal put up at the top of this page ( Thanks Cal ) i had to have the Amber Digby CD.I finally got it a week ago & i got to say - some fine singing & of course Dickey is ALL OVER this CD - WOW!! What a GREAT picker!!.It is very hard to take this CD out of the player & listen to anything else - it is that GREAT.
If you don't have one & you love the country sounds of yesterday & great pedal steel get yourself one & you will be smiling every time you think of the songs on this CD - i guarantee it!! Ron

For those who would be interested. The guitar player-Levi Mullen- on this record is Del Mullen's nephew, who also plays great fiddle, drums and sings a great song in addition. Probably plays other instruments also but these are the ones I have heard him play at Ginny's in Austin. Nice guy too.
I agree about Dickey's playing, some of the best on the planet. Still waiting to hear him in Dallas.
