Hi All,
I have been playing about a year now. My teacher and good buddy, Pete Grant, teaches me songs and techniques by scale steps rather than fret positions. I am pretty much used to that method and whenever I find a tab I like, I transcribe it into scale steps. I was wondering if anyone knows of a tablature program that allows you to choose between scale steps or fret positions for the tabs? Would save a lot of time and mess as I over write all the print outs by hand now.

Thanks
Ron Bednar

Ron,
Band in a Box has that feature, if I understand you correctly. One of the musical notation modes has tab on top with the actual music notes underneath and their scale step positions in red on the notes. That should do the trick for you. Plus BIAB is a dynamite practice tool.
