Does the 26 1/2 stringmaster fit in a standard case or did they make a longer one? Is one particular scale more desireable than the rest? Thanks, Ron

Ron
The 26"scale stringmaster had a longer case.

To many players the 26"scale has more sustain
and it was designed for that purpose.

Its a matter of taste as what makes one scale more desirable.

Finding a long case to fit the 26" is not a piece of cake, however you can have something made up to fit which will more than likely
be better than the original.

All you would lose is that it would not be original...thats all.edited,, You can always have it covered in tweed.

Hi Ron,
I believe I've got a long scale triple neck Stringmaster case. I built a new one for a customer. It's real trashed but still functional and I'll sell it cheap.
I can make you a new one also. Drop me a note if you are interested.
Here's a link to pics of some of my stuff. http://photos.yahoo.com/bc/dunamisdesigns316
