My D-Pro's volume pot doesn't appear to be original or have the value stamped anywhere. It has almost no taper, and I would like to change it for one that is the same type as stock. Were they 250k, 500k, or 1meg?
Also, which tone pot value makes for the best classic "boowah" effect? (Just in case I become coordinated enough to do that!)

Lastly, I assume the three-way switch is supposed to click into three distinct positions just like a Tele's? Mine just sort of slides up and down, and sound bleeds a little from the non-selected neck as well. I guess I should change that too, and that any Tele switch will do?

BTW--Love this forum! There's some real royalty hanging out here, and I'm learning so much just by reading and doing searches. Thanks!

Patrick

Look around and/or search the posts on this site. You can find the diagram for these guitars.

All of the parts can be purchased through Fender.
