Who's planning to go to Perl-Jam in Los Angeles next weekend?
I'll be there, hope to see everyone from last year and more! It's the most fun you can have in LA with your pants on!

Hi Jim....I won't be there this year. Hopefully Mike will keep this going every year. I had fun last time. Also, I wish we could have it on a Sunday sometime.

I've got a cool gig that day representing the steel guitar at a big "smooth jazz" festival with Kiki Ebsen (Buddy "Uncle Jed" Ebsen's talented daughter) Hope I do good.

It was nice getting to hang with you at Jim Palenscar's shop a few weeks ago.

Ya'll have a great jam!

Oooooh, and I wasn't planning on wearing my pants, just the cowboy boots and my finger picks, on las manos de piedra....

You're right Jim. I've got all the free steel bars.

Every time we've done this, the restaurant has sold between 20 and 30 extra meals, which is of course why they keep inviting us back.

After this is over, while the owner is thinking about how much money he made off us all, I'm going to talk to the owner about extending the jam for the entire weekend next year.

Mike, lets make sure everyone takes the little tear off receipt from their lunch check and turns it in to you. Walking up the to owner with a hand full of customer receipts should get his attention!

Wish to heck I could make it, but Saturday`s just impossible as I`ve got students all day. Will try to come by late and say hi to anyone still around.
