I want to find out who this was playing steel on the new Aaron Watson song "3rd gear and 17" There's some serious speed picking going on in this one certain lick in the middle of the song.
It isnt going to make me play better if I find out who it is,Iam just curious thats all. |

There are three steelers associated with the album from whence it came, Lloyd Maines, Eddie Rivers and Bill Pan.

| It is none other than Lloyd Maines on that Track. Aaron's drummer Rodney is a good friend he had some pretty good stories about how the band has had to put in a lot of work to pull together some of the licks on the album and the steel solo on 3rd gear and 17. Was one of the toughest. |
