This might reconstitute the old thread on the fourneck rotateable steel in the Country Music Museum. Had a big knob to rotate the necks and some kind of contact wiper arrangement to move from pickup tom pickup. Fascinating.

Shades of Florida panhandle steeler Neal "Pappy" McCormick's rotating four-neck "Contraption" of 1946. There was (is?) an example in the Roy Acuff Museum at Opryland.

Search the Web under Neal Pappy McCormick and you will find a few interesting links. Also the old Forum thread.

I interviewed him in the early 1990s. Interesting guy--Indian chief, Hawaiian troubador, taught Hank guitar, etc.
