I thought I would let the folks know where Buzz Evans is playing. He called me here in Missouri after I found his # and called and left a message letting him know I would be in Vegas and needed to know where he was picking, so the guy does return calls.
He is playing 27.80 cab fair away from the Flamingo, but well worth the fair. The name is Skyline Casino just past Sams Town, and the man he plays steel and 6 string for is a very good singer, the whole gig was good had a great time with Buzz and after he drove me all the way back to town so I wouldnt have to call a cab, thats what I call someone who cares about his fans. We had dinner and he told me that this was the last club Curly played at before he moved back to Nashville.
If you have never had the chance to hear Buzz He is great, and a good guy and if you want to know what gear he was using you'll just have to go to Vegas and listen. Buzz said Hi to all his friends in Missouri.

Bill-Lucky you!
The bass player whom I played with in the old days and is on my Website a lot was Harry Clark, singer, mc. He played with Buzz a few years ago in a Lounge in Vegas, and he sent me a cassette he had of Buzz's which is, of course, great steel playing......al

Good comments, Bill. Buzz always says he is "just messin' around" on steel, but his "messin' around" is miles above most.

Then comes his guitar....what a player!!

Did he sing that tune Jimmy Day wrote?

I will be in Las Vegas the first week of May and would like to see Buzz play again. The first time was at th TSGA in Dallas about 4 years ago.

Do you reckon he will still be playing at the above posted club then? Thanks

Larry....You can call the Skyline on any given date and ask if Buzz is playing. They are very accommodating. Wed/Thurs 6-11, Fri/Sat 7-12. Email when you are going, and maybe we will cross paths.
