I will be happy to email anyone who wants it a copy of a six-page write-up that I call "A Poor Man's Course In Chord Construction." I originally wrote it as a series of email lessons for a friend who was relatively experienced on standard guitar, but who did not understand chord construction. It is intended for the beginning musician or the musician who has little or no knowledge of how chords can be made just by knowing the name of the chord, or how a chord name can be assigned to a group of notes.
If you wish a copy, email me at Roy@RoysFootprints.com and tell me whether you want it as a Microsoft Word attachment or pasted directly into the body of the email.

It is easier on me to just respond to an email rather than to a Forum request. I would appreciate it if you would make your requests via email to me at Roy@RoysFootprints.com
And don't forget to tell me whether you want it pasted into the body of the email or attached as a Microsoft Word document.
Thanks.

Roy's material is fantastic. As is Roy. It's clear, written in a friendly manner and moves you very quickly.
Wonder who the initial "victim" was?

Darrell ans Sidney, copies on the way.
Jim, since you 'fessed up I'll say that the reason the course turned out OK is because of the cooperation, critiques, and suggestions you made. Thanks, friend.
I received 33 more requests this morning. Be patient, guys and gals, it may take awhile today. Thanks for the interest.

Ernie,
Things are going great here in the Memphis area. I'm playing a regular Friday night gig doing soft dinner music in a restaurant here using Band In A Box for backup. Nothing to write home about, but something to keep my chops up. We will remain here until October when our daughter's husband returns from Afghanistan.
So far I have sent out 121 copies of "The Poor Man;s Course." Man, I hope there are no errors in it. I'm tough, but I don't think I could whip 121 steelers.
Regards to you wife and daughter and all of my friends in Florida.
Your friend,
Roy
