I've got several of the Tex Williams movies, and I've never seen one that had the band. There was a series of them that had Tex as the star, with Smokey and Deuce as supporting players. There might be others that had the band playing, but most films of that era had the guys more as ranch hands, members of a posse, etc. and not musicians. This also goes for Spade's movies, though there was more music in those.
