I’ve been watching RFD TV this evening and enjoying your interpretations of some of Johnny Sibert’s licks! It’s refreshing to be able to listen to all sides of steel guitar music! Sometimes we get into a rutt that’s hard to get out of! Good Country~Music allows us to do this occasionally! Good job Joe! Keep up the good work. Thanks!

Just thought I'd give Joe a bump, in case more people might have a comment to make!

I got Directv back in December and soon discovered RFD TV. Finding the Midwest Country show was like finding a jewel. I am a new player and I tune in specifically to watch Joe play and watch his technique. Thanks Joe for the inspiration. You will be an influence in my playing style. |

Joe is a very good player. He is the only reason I watch the show.

Hey Randy, you snoozed and loozed. They now have "Cash-araoke" on Mondays at Lee's. Sing Johnny Cash with a live band. I don't know if Joe is involved in this or not.

I have to agree with Richard. Joe is the only reason I watch the show. I have no idea how singers are picked for the show but I have to say, other than the old Opry stars, Joe IS the star of the show. |

I did a steel guitar show for the Minnesota Steel Guitar Association a few years back and Joe was on the show along with the late Curt Olson and none other than my longtime friend Al Udeen. Joe played very good, and tasty on the country neck and got on the C6th neck and wore it out. All in all a very great player.
I wish I could watch RFD, but I switched to Dish last fall and they don't have it yet, or at least with the top 120 program schedule that I have.
For the guys lucky enough to see and hear Joe, tell him I said Hi and I hope they get the MSGA going again, those were fun shows,

Terry I am on Dish here and I get RFDTv on channel 9409. I think it is part of the basic channel setup. |

I hate to say it, but OH YES. Also, she sings like an angel. IMO, she is the best singer I've seen on the show, including most of the pro acts. |

I hate to be the one to break the bad news, but Becky is married. You guys may have to settle for Joe's Zum. Becky is a wonderful lady in person as well. Her website is worth checking out. www.beckyschlegel.com |

Wouldn't be the first time I took someone's wife/girlfriend. But, to get back on topic, Joe's Zum is pretty and he plays it well. Outside of Becky, he is the best one on the show. |
