I'll be playing Saturday night in El Dorado, AR at a club called "The Depot". Don't know the street address, I haven't been playing there long. But, it's not hard to find. The name of our band is "The Lawson Band". We do a mixture of southern rock and country. If you happen to be in the area, come by and say howdy. We play from 9:15 till 1:00 or so.

Nick, I'm still on the road with Cash. We have three more shows and we'll be done with his "Florida RV Resort" Tour for this year.

Tonight we are in Moore Haven, tomorrow in Brooksville and Sunday in Leesburg.

Tommy will be home in Hendersonville next week and then he's off to Texas.

He'll be back in Florida in early May for a festival show and we are booked to do that job with him.

Tonight it's a session in my studio with a local country band. Tomorrow, two acoustic trio shows (Dobro for me) at Montana's in Woddstock,GA 3-6pm, then 37 Main in Buford, 9-12. Sunday a CD release party at Eddie's Attic in Decatur, GA with amazing singer Kristin Markiton. Back to sessions Monday, then a huge Fat Tuesday party at the Montgomery (AL) country club. Weekends never end around here.

I'm off tonight (Friday) and working tommorrow night (but not on steel) at the Music Showcase Theater of the Outer Banks in Kittyhawk, North Carolina. I'll be on lead guitar with the Sterling Riggs Elvis Tribute Show. It's a lot of fun as I get to polish up my old Scotty Moore licks! We do a set of 50's things like "Good Rockin' Tonight", "Baby Let's Play House", etc. and then I put away the archtop in favor of the Tele for the Vegas type tunes. We do this show once a month through September.....Have a good 'un...JH in VA.
