Does anybody have an mp3 of this song you can send me? I have the vinyl "10 Shades of Green" so I don't feel I'm ripping Lloyd off. I'd buy the CD if there was one. Anyone ever tab this one?

Frank,

Unfortunately I have also only the LP. The album "Ten Shades Of Green" was released as CD, I know that Bear Family Records in Germany still has it available.

Funny enough, I was working on this song cause of all the minor changes. I bet Lloyd's version is "top nocth". J.C.

I love Tony Booth's vocal version of this song. Not a whole lot of steel but still excellent!

Bengt Erlandsen Tabbed the entire thing on here a few years ago and it is still in the tab section. I wish I knew how to put the page up here but if you do a search on the tab section the topic was "Tab & Chord Request for Secret Love E9"

Gruess Gott Walter und vielen Dank!

Noch eine Frage, bitte:

I will buy the Bear Records CD in a heartbeat but are there any problems playing a Euro CD, or rather, burning a Euro CD to my computer in the USA? I bought a Doobie Bros. CD from Holland a while back & it won't play on anything but the CD player.

Les, what got me thinking about this is I heard Freddy Fender's version on Sirius satellite radio.

Bengt, the tab is awesome. Thanks to all.

Frank
Have you listened to Lloyd's radio program from the Wembley Country Music Festival - broadcast around 1980. Go to lloydgreeentribute.com and check on soundclips, them the wembley program. It features Lloyd playing Secret Love, Steel Guitar Rag, San Antonio Rose, Blue Eyes Crying in The Rain, Danny Boy, Buds Bounce.
Some of the best PSG music ever recorded.

Frank,

I think CDs are the nly media in the world where you have no restricting country codes or different system, that means, any CD should play on any player in the world. The Lloyd Green CD is also a U.S. product imported to Germany, so we are talking about a re-reimport that shouldn't cause any problems.

Dave,

You are right, the Wembley clip on the website also includes Secret Love - thanks for reminding me! Isn't that embarrassing to add clips and then forget about the contents. Too much good music!

Kind Regards, Walter

I just tried the Bear site and they do not list the 10 Shades of Green. I have looking for this one for several years.
