I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone of you that was kind enough to cast your vote for Manny K's beautiful CD "My Island Paradise".
Manny won first place in the "Hawaiian Contemporary" category. Manny is now a first place winner, two years in a row.
Congratulations to Manny and the band!
Not bad for a gentleman who is pushing 75.
He loves his music and does a fine job in representing his culture.
I'm happy to have been such a small part of the event and to have had the opportunity to work with such a fine group of musicians.
Don't forget to get your copy by writing to the jerrybyrdfanclub. |

Congratulations to you RAY
Those "in the know" ... know that without your back-up Hawaiian Steel Guitar Work ...
Neither CD would have been ... well, enough said ...
Lets just hope this years "Ceremonies" will be alittle more "productive" for you and your lovely bride ... than last years ...
Thank goodness for the Aloha Spirit of Jeff AH
Again ... congratulations on keeping the "Jerry Byrd" style alive & well ... heard by many ... and winning awards !!!
PS: That Cd we discussed is in the mail ... been alittle busy round here ... this week

Well, what a most pleasant surprise and such kind words. I really appreciate it my good, good friend. So very nice of you.
I wish it were true! What a way to die! To know that one's own creative juices had an impact that influenced hundreds of voters.
Again, many thanks to you Rick! |
