Hi Brett!
Yes, I did read that article, and we're all so proud of you! You make us all look good!
You sounded fantastic in Atlanta, and I was so pleased to find that you're also a singer!!! "Bartender's Blues" was just great; one of my favorite James Taylor (or is that George Jones) songs.
I want a copy of that picture we took together by your new steel for my "wall of fame". Okay?

Love you, Brett,
Laney

Hey Laney, both George and James Taylor sang the song as a duet and George's version is probably more popular, even though both guys recorded the song. If you are wondering where I got the steel solo for the song, I was watching the Opry one night and George had a birthday and singer Kenny Chesney sang "Bartender's Blues" and his steel player, Jim Bob Gairrett played the solo. And, yeah, we'll put the picture on my Webpage soon and I'll send a copy of it to ya! Love ya! Brett, Emmons S-10, Morrell lapsteel, GFI Ultra D-10
